Currently only a subset of AT-hardware is supported (hard-disk, screen,
keyboard and serial lines), and some of the system calls are not yet
fully implemented (notably mount/umount aren't even implemented). See
comments or readme's in the code.

むしろ、ASCIIのDOSマルチタスクモニタとか、WelowLisp~XLisp弄り倒して、Smalltalk/VやLispMachineみたいな環境を作れないものか、
と悶々としてたっけ。
で、くだんのVer0.0.1 Linux、家の286では動かないし、研究室のPCはプレ286なんで、計算機センタのPC/AT端末(H社のFlowlerかなんか)でブート試験だけやったな。結果は、当然ハング(涙
結局、漏れのPC UNIX歴は、翌年位に発表された Bill Jolitz夫妻の386BSD~京都マイコンクラブのPC98ポーティングまで延期になったっけ。
同じ時期、当時まだWin2.0しか発表していなかったマイクロソフトやOS/2ポシャリ始めてたIBMに、強い脅威を感じつつ、
Linusと似た事を目指してた人はいぱーい居ると思うけど、
とにかくゴールにたどり着き、更に世間の広範な支持を取り付けたって意味で、Linusは凄いと思うよ、いやまたーく。
